Just thought I would drop a quick note to say, I did not get spanked on Sunday. Sorry to anyone who was betting I would.
I am hoping the spankings have stopped once and for all. Perhaps I will write about another past spanking if anyone is still interested.
Perhaps you truly believe what you say: "I am hoping the spankings have stopped once and for all." And maybe this is truly correct. But the list of spanking blogs that you say you follow suggests something else. It appears to me that you are a spanko, but, for some reason, cannot admit a spanking fetish to yourself.
ReplyDeleteI have been following the other blogs to try to help me understand what drives other people into these types of situations. It is clear that others enjoy these role plays. It is most likely my wife is a "spanko" as you say. I would be willing to admit I enjoyed it if I did, why not? I do hope the spankings end, but I must admit that if my wife enjoys this like the women on the blogs I follow, I am sure the spankings will continue. For now I still believe that the spankings may be ending as my wife does not seem to pursue the spankings with the same vigor as the women in the blogs I have been following.

Some questions: Would you agree that you are in a "female led marriage?" I presume you would. Is your wife become stricter with you over time? I gather so. If so, then the only reason that you have not been spanked lately is because you are spanking adverse, and are trying very hard to avoid any more spankings. In short, she has you well trained. Do you agree?
Your wife might not "pursue the spankings with the same vigor as the women in the blogs [you] have been following," as you write, but that hardly matters. For, from what you have described, it is amply clear that wife is plenty willing to spank you whenever, and however she sees fit. And you have made it equally clear that you will not resist her. So unless she is mellowing, you will surely get more spankings in the future. Count yourself lucky!
To answer your questions, first I do not consider myself in a "female led marriage" in as much as we are equal partners with respect to finances, chores and decision making authority.
DeleteSecond, my wife has not "become stricter" in the sense, that the frequency and reasons for spanking have not changed. You are correct however in that she is willing to spank me when I have crossed the line. So other than the fact that she has chosen spanking as a method to deal with behavior that makes her mad, we have a perfectly normal marriage.
Yes, I am spanking adverse and always was, but you are correct. I have no doubt that she would spank me again if I crossed that line. I don't think she is mellowing or getting more or less strict. I am just giving her less excuses to spank me.

ReplyDeleteIn a previous post I suggested that you not resist but do as she says, when she says, and take your punishment without begging, crying or pleading. Have you tried that and if so, did it make it easier on you?

As a follow up to the previous question, has any aspect of the spankings from your wife ever been perceive post-spanking as positive for you, or for your marriage? For instance, has the afterglow of the spanking been erotic, or pleasant in some other way? Did you feel more bonded to your wife after you were spanked? Understandably, you do not like punishment spankings. Most people do not. But many report post-spanking bonding feelings toward their wife, or a general sense of well being.
